A weekend filled with colours & creativity from candies to wood work.
I got my coffee fix and cookies early in the morning sometime 1pm, after a fairly busy weekend. My main aim for this morning was to avoid wallowing in self-pity - it's "the morning after" and I admit I have enjoyed that one lovely last glass of wine at the Roosky Heritage Festival! It all happened in the "red barn", adequately dressed in cowboy boots we danced away together with the village. It felt a little bit like I am in my favourite movie "Sweet home Alabama" - and I loved it! What would be a better way to appreciate the art & crafts of the many creative minds than with celebration!
Let's travel back through a weekend of art in the Irish Midlands from Longford's Expressions Exhibition, Cruthú Arts Festival to Roosky's Heritage Festival & Lough Ree-Environmental Summer FestivalOur little Artists at Lough Ree-Environmental Summer Festival
Fergal Coghlan's work from the Icon Factory in Dublin
And just because I have a heart for art but also craft... here are some lovely Irish handcrafted pieces.
