"Words cannot express how amazing Nicolette was! We were so incredibly lucky to find such a gifted photographer for our wedding, and she really made the whole day so enjoyable. She got all the obligatory family photos etc but the non traditional photos are out of this world! We had so much fun with her, we went for a walk through the city centre, visiting St Patrick's Cathedral, an ice cream parlour, a quick stop in the bar that I met my wonderful wife, and a stroll through the cobbles of Templebar. Everybody loved Nicolette, they're all still talking about how amazing she was. Thank you so much Nicolette"
Hello, I am Nicolette. Based in the beautiful Irish countryside I travel through Ireland & Europe for my lovely couples.
Most of the time you will find me outdoors, either with my camera around my neck or simply walking our charmingly crazy dog, honey. Being a wedding photographer has always been a dream that I treasure.
Only recently I opened a little gallery where I enable local artists to display their work but also have a small selection of clothing - my favourite brand available for you.
I get inspired from everyday life, friends and family. I also passionately paint & cook and try myself at DIY projects around our cottage.
When you have dreams, chances are they do come true. When I was little we visited my grand ma in the countryside every year during summer holidays. I still miss her and still look up to what she has achieved. She didn't only built a huge house, but also the best vegetable & fruit garden - better than any groceries! A place where we kids could play, dream and run free. We climbed on trees, broke into our neighbour's farming shed and built little wooden sailing boats. I remember passing through big cities with skyscrapers, flashing lights and the smell of hot asphalt on our way back home. It must have been then when I thought I'd love to live a live like Dian Keaton in the movie "Baby Boom". The career woman working in a busy marketing firm with my own office in a skyscraper. It seemed my path has been set in concrete, and I moved to Dublin in my mid twenties to work in the corporate world of an online bank. Coding. Numbers. Virtual.
It took a little while before I brave enough to listen to that child's voice we all have and said "good bye" to the corporate world to start a new chapter. I took my belongings, car and Wakeboard and moved to the country side - the actual life I wanted to live since I was a child, with my partner & my dog in the middle of nowhere.
Here at Lough Ree in Ireland I started to make my dreams become reality.
...and I love every single moment!
